Anniversary Meeting and Dinner
For our tenth anniversary in 2006 we held a special Anniversary Meeting and Dinner which all proved such fun that we promptly decided to make it an annual event. So every October now, we shoot a Double Portsmouth at Fenwick for a pretty little hand-made trophy that Fede picked up on (you guessed it - it is Fede after all) eBay. When he first brought it along, Hugh the Purist grumbled that it was all out of scale with itself. Didn't stop him gleefully taking it home to sit on the mantlepiece the first time it was up for grabs though. Hmmph.
The Anniversary Meeting Trophy
The shoot is followed by tea and buns then we all trot across the road (quite a big road - it's the M77) for a yummy slap-up meal at the nearby Fenwick Hotel. We suppose the day is as much about us stuffing our faces as it is about archery, but then, quite a lot of our meetings are like that.
